Victor Kamenyo Defends Relationship Claims After Kirabo Kisitu Denies Dating Him
KAMPALA, UGANDA — Ugandan musician Victor Kamenyo has stood by his claim that he previously had a romantic relationship with Kirabo Kisitu, despite the singer’s denial that the two ever dated.
The dispute has attracted attention on social media after Kamenyo shared screenshots of what he described as a private conversation between himself and Kisitu from 2024.
The screenshots quickly sparked debate among social media users, with some interpreting the messages as evidence that the two musicians may have previously been romantically involved.
However, Kisitu rejected the claims, describing the leaked conversation as misleading and insisting that she has never been in a romantic relationship with Kamenyo.
Kamenyo says he provided enough evidence
Responding to Kisitu’s denial, Kamenyo maintained that the screenshots he shared were enough to support his version of events.
The musician said he chose not to disclose additional private information because he did not want to expose details that could affect either party’s personal life.
“You can’t just disclose everything because we all have lives to protect, but I presented the proof,” Kamenyo said.
